The Walking Festival has been developed to take full advantage of our magnificent surroundings and to encourage visitors to explore on foot, whatever their level of experience.
Ancient drovers roads, old railway track beds and winding paths give access to the mountains, lakes and woodlands of Snowdonia and unmask views that a truly a wonder to see, rivalling anywhere in the world.
Walk leaders have been chosen for their local knowledge and experience, and they are fully conversant with the needs of walkers whatever their level of ability.
Local historians and naturalists lead some walks giving information about the surroundings, and expert advice has been taken to ensure a safe, interesting and a varied programme throughout.
