Barmouth & Dyffryn United FC, are one of the oldest, if not the oldest, Football Clubs in the U.K, first founded in 1863, and have a long history and tradition of producing excellent sides over the years, winning a variety of trophies along the way.
They play at The Wern Mynach, Barmouth, and the First Team are currently in the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Football League Division 2, the fourth tier of Welsh Football.
The First Team has an average of around 100 people watching home matches during the course of a season, but midweek local derbies in the summer months attract in excess of 200, a great achievement considering the size and population of the town.
