Be Proud of Barmouth is a Community Initiative created by Barmouth Town Council that hopes to get members of the community to join in with an organised, targeted clean-up, or work on areas they have identified themselves that need a quick tidy-up.
If members of the public identify troublesome areas, or something that need attention, they can contact the Town Clerk, and then a call-to-action will be announced asking for volunteers to take part, with information being shared on social media, local newspaper and on local noticeboards.
They hope to build up a good community spirit and to change the thought process when it comes to issues such as littering and dog-fouling too, and if we work together, over time mindsets will change and reduce some of the problems we are facing now.
