Barmouth Bowling club was established in 1911, and currently operates from it’s own Lawn Bowling Green and adjacent club house in Northfield Road, Barmouth Gwynedd, LL42 1PT.
The Green is open for use from April to the end of September each year. There are competitions for members throughout the season and we welcome visitors whether experienced players or total beginners. Equipment along with basic tuition (if required) is included in the very reasonable visitor fee of £3 per person per session.
What better way to enjoy a pleasant and peaceful afternoon in the fresh air as well as hopefully making new friends.
Mondays Wednesdays and Saturdays are the 3 club days each week throughout the season when you can be reasonably sure that there will be someone available, from 1.45 pm, to give you access to the facilities and equipment. It is possible to play on other days but it’s best to pre-book via one of the contacts below so that we can make sure at least one or two members are available on site to welcome you.
The club is also keen to establish links with other Lawn Bowling Clubs to organise inter club fixtures
