At the RNLI Boathouse, local musicians play throughout the day drawing huge crowds that surround the Boathouse, beach and promenade, to enjoy a variety of wonderful live music.
This annual event is one of the highlights of the musical calendar as talented musicians give up their time for free to raise money towards the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Barbecue lunch, stalls, afternoon tea and more, carries the community feel, as holiday makers and locals alike join to dance away the afternoon in a fun and friendly atmosphere overlooking the Life Boat that graces the beach below.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution relies on public donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service, and since it was founded in 1824, the lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved at least 140,000 lives with Volunteers making up 95% of the charity.
Barmouth RNLI continues this tradition by staging their own events throughout the year to raise money for this much needed and much used body.
